Ferrero acquires Oltan hazelnut company Ferrero, maker of Nutella, has purchased Oltan, one of the largest hazelnut producers and marketers in the world. Turkey-based Oltan has five production plants with revenues of more than $500 million, and the deal is subject to regulatory approval.
