- Foreign retailers seek exposure in London

- Germany's Adidas plans to open thousands of stores in China
Adidas is planning a massive expansion across China. The company wants to open more than 2,500 stores in the country's smaller cities within the next five years. "We have laid out an ambitious five-year plan and expect to grow our business in Greater China by double digits each year. This will lay the foundation to regain market leadership in China by 2015," said Christophe Bezu, managing director for Greater China at Adidas. - UK has highest percentage of online shoppers in Europe
About 66% of British consumers ages 16 to 74 had bought a product online within the previous year, found a survey. The E-Society report, which was produced by the Office for National Statistics, found that 64% of such consumers in Denmark and 63% in the Netherlands had also shopped online. Only 5% of Bulgarians and 2% of Romanians shopped online, according to the study.
