Hershey debuts Yo-man brand in China
Hershey is introducing a line of condensed milk candy in China under the new brand name Yo-man and will increase its China sales force by 60% this year. "From a company standpoint we're very excited about the size of the category and the opportunity it presents," said Steven Schiller, senior vice president of the global sweets and refreshment business unit for Hershey, which estimates China's market for milk candy to be worth $1.2 billion. Mintel looks at millennials' produce shopping trends
Shoppers between 18 and 35 do 41% of their shopping at traditional grocery stores, compared to 50% for baby boomers, according to a Mintel study, and have less brand loyalty.
