A biotech wheat being developed by Monsanto could be ready for field trials within one to two years and is about 10 years away from commercialization, said Claire CaJacob, the company's top executive for global wheat technology. Michigan appears to be the first state to ban drinks that combine alcohol and caffeine, after incidents in other states in which students were hospitalized after consuming such beverages.
