    A study that followed nearly 500,000 older adults for about 10 years found that those who ate the most red meat had a higher risk for stomach and esophageal cancer compared with those who limited their intake of red meat.     Cal-Maine Foods announced a voluntary recall of 288,000 eggs purchased from Ohio Fresh Eggs, a supplier that received funding from Austin "Jack" DeCoster, owner of the Iowa farm at the center of a nationwide egg recall in August. No illnesses have been reported, but salmonella was found at the Ohio farm. The recall applies to eggs under the brand names Sunny Meadow, Springfield Grocer, Sun Valley and James Farm.
