Gap announced a plan this week to consolidate its international operations into one division to be headed by new President Stephen Sunnucks, as part of a strategy to accelerate global growth. The division will oversee operations at all of Gap's brands in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia Pacific and South America. The company also announced plans to open its first overseas Old Navy store in Japan next year.
