Cargill to acquire Australian malter
Cargill announced it will buy Joe White Maltings, Australia's leading malting company, for a reported $373 million. Higher-calorie breakfast may lead to greater weight loss
Overweight and obese women who ate more calories at breakfast had a mean weight loss of 19.1 pounds at 12 weeks, compared with 7.9 pounds in those who consumed more calories at dinner, according to a study in Obesity. Researchers also found that those in the breakfast group attained greater reductions in waist size and BMI than did those in the dinner group.
