 - Amazon's tech center in Scotland will create 900 jobs
Growing demand for Amazon's Kindle prompted the company to create a technology and customer-service facility in Edinburgh, Scotland. The center, opening in August, will employ 500 full-time and 400 temporary workers. By year-end, Amazon will open a fulfillment center in Dunfermline, Scotland, that will employ about 950.
