Keurig Green Mountain earnings outpace projections
Driven by sales of single-serve K-cups and coffee brewers, Keurig Green Mountain's earnings grew 33% in the third fiscal quarter, resulting in a profit of $155.2 million, which outpaced its projections. Almonds have risen to the top in the U.S. as Americans' favorite nut, surpassing the popularity of peanuts on trends including health and dietary preferences. In the last nine years, almond consumption has grown by more than 220%. "Nuts were considered unhealthy due to their high fat content," according to a 2011 report by the University of Michigan. Poll reveals what consumers are cutting from their diets
