Hotel reservation deadline extended -- book by April 15
With advancements in technology, consumers have more access to and influence over the products they consume than ever before. To keep up with these changing needs, companies must continue to adapt not only the products they offer, but their customer service procedures as well.

On May 8-10 in San Francisco, GMA will host the Consumer Complaints Management Conference, which is designed to address the most pressing issues for consumer affairs and complaint management specialists in the food, beverage and CPG industry.

In the session "Improving the Consumer’s Ability to Report Food Safety Concerns to USDA and FDA," Jessica Forshee of the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service and Linda Gilchrist of the FDA will share with attendees the latest in food safety consumer complaint tools. Forshee will provide details on a new online tool, the Electronic Consumer Complaint Form (eCCF), which was released by the USDA in September, and Gilchrist will cover the numerous ways FDA allows the public to report product complaints, specifically through the consumer complaint reporting system managed by 19 FDA District Offices nationwide.

*Please note: The deadline to reserve a hotel room at a discounted rate has been extended to Monday, April 15 -- book today!
