EBay launched a limited-time promotion with a guarantee that it will pay a minimum of $200 for working Apple iPhone 3GS, Motorola Mobility Droid X, HTC Evo 4G and Samsung Electronics Galaxy S Vibrant phones. The price is the same Verizon Wireless charges for its long-awaited iPhone with a two-year service plan. The promotion is part of eBay's Instant Sale program, which launched in the fall and lets consumers trade in older gadgets for money.
