- Wells Fargo tests mobile payment system
Wells Fargo is the latest company to try out a mobile payment service aimed at speeding payment at stores and restaurants, including quickserves, where the majority of consumers still pay for their meals in cash. Smaller companies have debuted similar efforts, including FaceCash, whose system tying mobile payments to preloaded accounts is in use at several California Subway locations.
