Choice, the consumer advocacy group, says that shoppers in Australia could see higher prices for produce, fashion and other purchases because of a change in Eftpos transaction fees.  - H&M reports 6% drop in like-for-like July sales
Hennes & Mauritz saw its July like-for-like sales drop 6%, hit by weak consumer sentiment in Europe. The figure represented the largest monthly sales decline for H&M in more than a year. "Comparatives are tough while economic conditions are tough across Europe -- and will perhaps get worse," said Anne Critchlow, an analyst at Societe Generale, who noted that the data was disappointing.
