  • NRF division sets new digital-receipt standard
A new digital-receipt standard released this week by NRF's Association for Retail Technology Standards aims to simplify the process with a single XML interface that eliminates the need to repeat data. The new standard would also strengthen security because it will be easier to integrate with point-of-sale systems, and a single receipt for all channels offers the opportunity for greater cross-channel promotions.
