  • Questions arise about space in Europe for retailers
    CB Richard Ellis research shows that 20.5 million square feet of new space in European shopping centers was built in 2010. That represents a 36% drop from 2009, which was down 30% from the previous year. Analysts are split over whether there is enough retail space to satisfy demand, particularly as U.S. retailers aim to expand past their domestic market.
