The Federal Trade Commission and authorities in Canada have approved plans for Coca-Cola to purchase the North American operations of its largest bottler, Coca-Cola Enterprises. The deal requires Coca-Cola to restrict its access to business information of Dr Pepper Snapple Group, which has drinks distributed by Coca-Cola.
