Dallas-based 7-Eleven confirmed rumors reported earlier this week that it hopes to acquire Iowa-based rival Casey's General Stores. In a bid valued at $2 billion, or $40 per share, 7-Eleven hopes to snatch the 1,531-store chain from rival bidder Alimentation Couche-Tard.
