- HMV reportedly about to sign 2-year refinancing deal
Simon Fox, chief executive officer at HMV, is negotiating terms of a new £201 million loan package with Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland and other lenders, according to The Sunday Times. The deal is expected to be signed soon. HMV's sale of Waterstone's book chain is said to have persuaded the banking syndicate to extend the loan.
