"The clientele that they bring and cater to Victoria's Secret is very indicative of who the Southcentre customer is as well. It is something our customers have been looking for." - Burberry executive says luxury spending remains strong
Stacey Cartwright, finance director at Burberry, said that the UK luxury goods company is not seeing a decline in demand despite the fragile economy. "No evidence of any slowdown ... Millions of online stores in China cater to consumers, but product quality remains a concern. Taobao is seeking to bring some order to the market by introducing regulations to its online marketplace and improving its management system.
