Kraft Foods and ConAgra Foods are partnering on TV, print and digital ads touting Kraft's Velveeta cheese and ConAgra's Ro-Tel canned tomatoes as the ideal combination for dips and other recipes. "One, because of the bang for the buck, and two, we've been able to get greater investment from both of our companies because of the partnership." They studied school-lunchroom designs and suggested low-cost changes that encourage students to choose healthy foods. California's True Leaf Farms initiated a voluntary recall of 90 cartons of chopped romaine lettuce because of possible listeria contamination. There has been no report of illness associated with the recall. An FDA spokesman said this listeria concern is not linked to an outbreak caused by tainted cantaloupe.
