- Colorado grocers label non-GMO food
Colorado stores including Durango Natural Foods Co-op and Nature's Oasis are adding shelf tags to identify food certified as free of genetically modified organisms by the Non-GMO Project. An unsanitary packing shed appears to be the starting point for a listeria outbreak in cantaloupes that killed 25 people and sickened at least 123, officials said.
