Tyson Foods has developed a 53-foot semi-trailer that can travel to disaster areas and provide food to people in need. The trailer has a generator, satellite communications and enough room to refrigerate 20,000 pounds of meat. Tyson typically responds to four or five major disasters each year. Beverage companies in India, including Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Amul and Dabur, are launching functional drinks. A spokesperson for Coca-Cola India said the market for functional beverages in the country is currently limited to big cities.
