  • EU case could alter buying of keywords by rival marketers
    Marketers in Europe may have not have complete freedom in using rivals' trademarks as search keywords, according to an opinion in a pending lawsuit by an adviser to the highest EU court. The recommendation comes from an advocate general of the European Court of Justice, which is the venue for a lawsuit filed by flower delivery firm Interflora against British retail chain Marks & Spencer, which also delivers flowers.
