    China's Bright Food Group is trying to reach an agreement to acquire GNC Holdings, a US vitamin retail chain, for as much as $3 billion, sources said. Ares Management and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board own GNC, which sells vitamins, nutrition supplements and other diet products through its international network of more than 7,000 stores.   • United Arab Emirates' Axiom cancels IPO
    Axiom Telecom, a handset retailer based in the United Arab Emirates, had planned to launch an initial public offering on the NASDAQ Dubai in early December, but canceled on Monday.
