Best Buy-owned CinemaNow, a fledgling film-streaming company, has sealed a multi-year deal to stream top Disney films in Canada, the company said. The deal follows similar agreements with studios including Alliance, Fox, Paramount Sony, Universal and Warner Bros., all of which are looking to streaming revenue to offset declines in DVD sales. Amazon has released an upgrade to its Kindle application that will add support for children's books and comics as well as graphic novels. The app will run on iOS, Cloud Reader and Android devices, the company said. It will display the works in a more art-friendly fashion, similar to that of graphic novels.
