 - Survey: Shoppers tie more purchases to brand names
Brand names and logos are important to 29% of shoppers when they're making fashion buying decisions, up from 8% five years ago, according to a Brand Keys survey. Ralph Lauren/Polo was the most popular brand, followed by Armani, Nike, Versace and Chanel, the survey found. Urban Outfitters aims to make half of sales online, using tactics that proved successful at Amazon.
