A Mintel study finds adults 45 and older are drinking the most coffee, while just 27% of consumers ages 18 to 24 drink it daily. "If coffee companies can't convert these younger drinkers to everyday users, long-term growth may suffer," said a Mintel analyst, who notes young consumers enjoy visiting cafes, and coffee makers can tap into that interest by selling similar products at retail so they can prepare their coffee drinks at home.
