Up to half of all online shoppers abandon shopping carts before checking out, and e-commerce merchants are eager to turn more of them into buyers. Online orders in Australia rose 15% last year, with traffic outpacing that of online shoppers in the U.S. and U.K., and the country's online sales are expected to hit $33.3 billion by 2015, according to comScore data. Amazon's Endless.com subsidiary rolled out international shipping for shoes, bags and accessories to 50 countries this week, with free shipping on orders of $100 or more. The move follows an earlier announcement that Amazon's flash-fashion site MyHabit will ship to the same list of international markets.
