In collaboration with their Joint Unloading Predictability Sub Team, FMI and GMA have commissioned Kurt Salmon Associates to develop recommended practices for enhancing receiving dock unloading. KSA will publish a white paper on these practices scheduled for release in January at the 2012 TPA Supply Chain Conference. This white paper will be used as a tool to approach a more efficient unloading process in a fair and equitable manner, inclusive of Fair Cost Sharing Recommendations.
