GMA and the Food Marketing Institute have developed a front-of-package food-labeling system called Nutrition Keys that includes icons showing how many calories a food contains, as well as how much saturated fat, sodium, sugar and some nutrients. "Helping consumers make informed decisions is not just good business sense, it is the right thing to do," said ConAgra Foods CEO Gary Rodkin, who is chairman of GMA's board of directors. Pamela Bailey, president and CEO of GMA, said the program is intended to "promote healthier lifestyles."
