  • Kmart's fashion campaign targets budget-conscious style fans
    Kmart has launched a new campaign using real people and bloggers to showcase its fashions and the tagline "Money can't buy style." The ads are aimed at women who want to look good without dedicating their lives to fashion, the company says.   • Whole Foods sets 1,000-store goal
    Whole Foods Market Co-CEO Walter Robb said the retailer expects to have 1,000 stores in the U.S. someday, up from about 300. The company also plans to increase its presence in Canada to 35 stores, up from six. Whole Foods is building exit clauses and buyouts into leases so "if we needed to, we could slow down," Robb said.     Kellogg's has tallied 38,000 views for mobile videos that are part of the cereal maker's "It's morning somewhere" effort from Leo Burnett Chicago and Starcom. The videos can be triggered by a smartphone scan of a QR code on the back of a cereal box or an SMS code.
