  • Study: Only 20% of deal buyers return to pay full price
Just under 20% of daily deal users go back to a store or restaurant when they have to pay full price, according to new research from Rice University. The result is little brand loyalty by small businesses for Groupon, LivingSocial and others. "The major take-away from the study is that not enough businesses are coming back to daily deals to make the industry sustainable in the long run," said Rice professor Utpal Dholakia.
