- India's government clarifies 30% rule for foreign retailers
Foreign retailers that source goods from India's small- and medium-sized local businesses and sell them in other global markets may fulfill the 30% rule established earlier this year, the government said Monday. Additionally, sellers of precision goods such as luxury watches may be at least partially exempt from the rule if the suppliers they need can't be found in India.
