    Liz Claiborne Inc. will bring in $328 million by selling its namesake brand, as well as its Monet, Kensie and Dana Buchman lines. J.C. Penney is paying $288 million for Liz Claiborne, which will create lines exclusively for the department store chain, and the rights in the U.S. and Puerto Rico to Monet.
